Urgent Call to Protect Kamal Adwan Hospital

On 12/21/24 we made an urgent appeal to President-elect Donald Trump to intervene to stop the ongoing Israeli bombardment of Kamal Adwan Hospital in besieged northern Gaza.

That past week, Doctor Abu Saffiyeh appealed to us to do everything in their power to save Kamal Adwan Hospital from annihilation. In the past 24 hours, the hospital has been targeted by tank shelling to the maternity and pediatric wards, surrounded by quadcopters and explosive-laden drones and put under total siege. Flames have permeated hospital walls, destroying entire sections and causing injuries to patients and staff. The staff and patients are deprived of food, oxygen and medical supplies.

Doctors Against Genocide received repeated appeals and an urgent voice message from Dr. Abu Saffiyeh calling on the global community to intervene to stop the bombardment of the hospital, protect the patients and the medical staff and to allow relief supplies into besieged Kamal Adwan hospital and Northern Gaza.

This past month, we launched our Not Another Child Not Another Hospital campaign to demand immediate and decisive action to address Israel’s ongoing atrocities in Gaza and escalating violence in the West Bank. An immediate stop to this medicide and genocide are the first steps to justice for this crime of genocide committed by the Israeli government.
